We are happy to announce that users can now easily insert Google Analytics tracking code into the mobile websites that they’ve built with the iFlyMobi application.

How Can You Use This Feature?

The process of adding the Google Analytics tracking logic is very simple.

First, you will want to find the unique ID that Google Analytics has assigned to your website. Below is a screenshot that may help — you will simply want to copy the value that Google Analytics has assigned to your website. The value will be in this format: “UA-XXXXX-Y”.

  • Next, you will want to log-in to the iFlyMobi Application.
  • Click on the “My Websites” button.
  • Find the mobile website that you’d like to add the tracking to, and click the “Edit” button.
  • Then, simply paste in the Unique ID that you copied into the “Google Analytics #” field.

  • Scroll down and click the “Update Website” button.

From that point forward, you should start seeing traffic to your mobile website within your Google Analytics reports.

What About Your Existing iFlyMobi Reports?

We will continue to provide and improve on the reporting that is already built into iFlyMobi.

However, we recognize that many of our customers rely heavily on Google Analytics to monitor traffic on their normal desktop websites. Thus, we believe this enhancement will make their jobs easier, as they seek to monitor traffic on their mobile websites as well.

Please feel free to continue using the iFlyMobi reports along with any reports that you utilize in Google Analytics!

Moving Forward

We hope that you find this feature helpful as you look to maximize your mobile marketing efforts.
