There is another great post on BizReport today with statistics that help demonstrate the remarkable growth of smartphone retail activity in certain parts of the world.
But rather than focusing on the growth, I was excited to see the points related to more people accessing retailers via the mobile web as opposed to an app.
I certainly are not against companies that develop mobile apps — I take advantage of them every day! But if a company is currently trying to decide where they should spend their resources — creating an app or a mobile website, I think a great factor in that decision should certainly be this: where is my target audience spending most of their time?
